Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome to Maitland Grossmann High School, a vibrant and inclusive learning community on Wonnarua Land in the Hunter Valley.

Since 1884, we have been committed to empowering every student to achieve their best through high-quality teaching, equitable support, and a safe, respectful environment where students are encouraged to thrive.

Our broad curriculum provides academic, vocational, creative, and inclusive pathways, including STEM, Inspire – High Potential and Gifted Education, the Arts, leadership opportunities, and our Support Unit. We value authentic partnerships that strengthen opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and enrich our whole school community.

Guided by our School Excellence Plan, we focus on student growth, wellbeing, attendance, and pathways beyond school. Working closely with families and our local community, we prepare young people to become confident, capable, and compassionate learners and citizens.

Thank you for your interest in Maitland Grossmann High School.
