National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence
Image: The 15th March is the National Day of Action against Bullying. MGHS students and staff will be participating in events building an inclusive and a safe environment for our students and staff. A strategy that will continue through the year are our weekly Year Meetings. These aim to develop a sense of belonging, connectedness and build student’s social and emotional intelligence. As well, all classes from Years 7 – 10 will be participating in Police Workshops to reinforce the harm that bullying/harassment, unsafe social media behaviours cause and strategies to use if being bullied/harassed. Students will show their support for the wellbeing of others by wearing an orange accessory on the 15th March. Parents are invited to visit the Bullying No Way website for a range of resources and information; https://bullyingnoway.gov.au/
